Your Initial Plastic Surgery Consultation
- Prior to in office consultation – It is helpful to first contact our office to briefly discuss your situation by phone 310-273-1663 or online at [email protected]. Dr. Orringer will determine if in-office consultation appears to be an appropriate option.
- In-office consultation – If you choose to travel to Beverly Hills for a plastic surgery consultation, you will meet with Dr. Orringer in person. He will discuss with you in detail your concerns and goals in an effort to arrive at a personalized, individualized treatment plan. During this visit, if surgery is decided upon, you will work with our patient coordinator to schedule a convenient time for you to return to our city for your procedure. Our patient coordinator will discuss Dr. Orringer’s recommendations regarding pre-operative care, details on your recovery, advice on local accommodations, and will provide an estimate for the cost of your procedure. Please feel free to contact us at any time following your consultation with additional questions. Dr. Orringer strongly believes that education is a very important aspect of the procedure.
Scheduling Your Procedure
Once you have decided to proceed with your desired procedure, you will be asked to provide a deposit to reserve your surgery date. The remaining balance will be due at the time of your preoperative visit.
Recovery Time in Beverly Hills
Depending on your procedure, Dr. Orringer will often recommend that you stay for one or more nights in a post-surgical recovery center to optimize your early post-operative care. We recommend the very comfortable Serenity Post-Surgical Aftercare Retreat in Santa Monica.
You should generally plan on spending 1-2 weeks in the Los Angeles area following your surgery so that Dr. Orringer can monitor your progress as you heal. As a safety precaution, we recommend that you discuss your surgery plans with your primary care physician and have your doctor available to follow up with you periodically during the healing process once you are home. However, Dr. Orringer asks that you contact him with any concerns or questions.
Travel Arrangements
The closest commercial airport to our Beverly Hills plastic surgery office is Los Angeles International Airport (LAX). In general, it takes about 20-40 minutes to travel to our office from LAX depending on traffic. We are also conveniently located near Burbank (BUR) airport.
If you prefer, you can also fly into one of the local private airports, Santa Monica (SMO) and Van Nuys (VNY). Many of our high profile and celebrity patients choose to fly into one of these airports to maintain a greater level of privacy while they travel.
